The D.Pharm course being run by Bhabha University is the PCI approved course catering the students with an immediate registration as the pharmacist in the Pharmacy Council enabling them to get self employed soon after the completion of the course. The well equipped laboratories compliment the exhaustive classroom studies by eligible and qualified faculties. The academic environment augment the proportion of the pass out students getting admission through lateral entry for the B.Pharm course. The institute proudly announces successful inspection of PCI availing the facilities as required by the council norms. We nurture the students to fit them most to the nationwide requirement of being a responsible for pharmacist.

The college has made great strides in meeting specific needs of students and patients, exploring new frontiers in pharmaceutical sciences and practice. As stated in the vision and mission statement of the college, we strive for high quality education, training and research focused on lifelong learning. The Faculty at Pharmacy Department can boast of an optimum mix of youth and experience.

Faculty development programmers in the form of Intensive Teaching Workshops and specific Subject workshops are routinely conducted at the institute level to train young teachers. . Several of our adjunct faculty members are located in leading pharmaceutical industries in India and abroad who guide the students during their practice school programme. The teachers are always striving towards keeping the students abreast of the latest advancements in pharmacy. Professionals from various Pharmacy fields are invited to deliver lectures to keep the students aware of the latest developments in the field and to have interaction with the teachers.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

The curriculum is designed to produce professionals with the following competencies:

Pharmacy Council of India.

1. Pharmacy Knowledge: Deep understanding of core pharmaceutical sciences (Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy).
2. Patient Care & Counseling: Ability to review prescriptions, dispense medicines, and provide patient education (essential for community/hospital pharmacy).
3. Analytical & Technical Skills: Proficiency in analytical techniques, drug design, and modern analytical instrumentation.
4. Regulatory & Ethical Practice: Understanding legal, safety, and ethical requirements (Drug & Cosmetics Act).
5. Leadership & Lifelong Learning: Ability to lead, manage, and adapt to new technologies and research.    

CAMPUS DETAILS

The campus is situated at NH-12 Hoshangabad Road, Jatkhedi, Bhopal. It is around 15 km from bhopal railway station. The specialties of the campous includes: A huge campus of 27 acres. LIBRARY

Library is the source of the knowledge and its work as soul of the institute. Large number of books available in our library inclulde Indian Pharmacopoeia, British Pharmacopeia, Indian & International Journals. Besides periodicals and reference we keep the students upto date with the latest digital libarary that includes CDs, audio-visulas , Internet section, reprographic section. 

 

 

HERBAL GARDEN & TRANSPORT FACILITY

• Species Diversity: Gardens typically house a wide variety of medicinal herbs, shrubs, and trees (e.g., Terminalia arjuna, Saraca asoca, Datura metel).
• Educational Purpose: These spaces support practical training for B.Pharm and M.Pharm students, focusing on herbal drug technology and natural product research.
• Specialized Areas: Some gardens feature thematic sections like Navagrah Vatika, Nakshatra Vatika, and aquatic plant ponds.
• Infrastructure: Gardens are frequently equipped with greenhouses, shade houses, and drip irrigation systems to ensure optimal growth of rare or sensitive species.

ELLIGIBILTY

Candidate must have passed the 10+2 Examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology Subject.Obtained at least 45% marks and 40% marks in case of SC,ST, OBC category of Madhya Pradesh.
