We are moving through a period of rapid Technological change in the realm of industries. A missed opportunity could mean the demise of the firm or even the industry. It is essential not to overlook the fact that it is the application and consequences of these changes which are wealth creating-not the technological developments themselves. For the creation of wealth, technological change must be harnessed to provide improved or new products within the time scales and costs commensurate with competitive market needs. This is the central theme of engineering management in industry. It involves many tasks including product innovation and the product realization process. To face the challenges the management will invariably go for getting the right people, aiming at the right targets, encouraging innovation through competition and developing awareness of the social and other consequences of new technology. The responsibility of the institution will be to generate right type of technical manpower who will be in a position to meet up the craze of industries. The syllabi should be highly flexible and laboratories and workshops should be well equipped. Industry institute interaction should be built up and this should go a long way to build up industry institute partnership. The institute was established in year 2006 and shaping well in academic field.

Principal Message

Namish Mehta received his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bhilai Institute of Technology, Bhilai and then M.E. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. He has completed doctoral degree (PhD) in the area of Industrial Management from Rajiv Gandhi Prodhogiki Vishwavidhyalaya, Bhopal (M.P.), and has many research papers and articles to his credit. He is actively involved in the research on Industrial Engineering, total quality management, optimization technique, service quality and other related areas. He has twenty seven years of teaching, consultancy & industry experience. He has worked on several key positions in different reputed institutions. He has a vast experience of academic management and academic administration. He has also supervised and supervising various projects and dissertation/thesis at B.Tech. and M.Tech./Ph.D. level. He is the member of RDC, paper setter and thesis evaluator in different reputed universities. He has published more than 35 papers at International and National Journals, and Conferences. He has also attended a number of conferences, short term courses and workshops at IIT’s and NIT’s. He is in the review board for different journals at National and International level.
